Project Canopy was created to rethink that relationship by placing personal infrastructure back into the hands of individuals.

As the first major research initiative from DFLab, Project Canopy explores how user-owned hardware, privacy-first networking, and distributed technologies can become the foundation for a more personal, resilient internet.
